I have been watching NavyTV and thoroughly enjoy the films. I served aboard the USS Vulcan AR5 from Jan'70 to Jan'73 and would like to know if there are any old SeaPower or Victory at Sea movies about repair ships.
Any shipmates contact me at drgaskill@sbcglobal.net.

Respecting what Matters to Others:
When one joins a branch of the Military, it is generally regarded as a duty of honor to serve for country and people. The willingness to put ones self (along with those that they serve with) in harms way if that is the 'call'. People such as that 'matters' to our Military branches and to the people of this country.
My youngest son Emilio X. Burnett recently joined the Navy. Made it through Boot Camp (Great Lakes, Illinois) and graduated from the school in Pensacola Florida. He put in for oversea services and is now in Japan.
I just recently received his photos and The Keel. Memorable items for family and Service. Well, when I located my sons photo, his name read ' BURNETT, EMILIG X., his first name is misspelled, and that 'matters' to me. I also noticed that a part of the 'seal' on the cover of 'The Keel' read....Committed To Excellence....
Please explain to me what that entitles to.

I would like to find crewmates that served with my Uncle, aboard the USS Natchez ( PF-2) '44/'45. He participated in the sinking of U-879.
