I am disappointed with your site in reference to missile submarines. I served at the end of WW-II and everyday of the Korean War. I served on the USS Cusk ssg-348 1953 %26 1954.
She was the worlds 1st guided missile submarine, albeit a Model "T" version. But she did fire the 1st missile from a submarine in 1948, a V-1 German rocket converted to radio control with removable wings to fit in the tank we carried on deck.
We are the grand-daddy of all missile submarines and yet never mentioned, her name never honored by naming a missile submarine after her instead of some egotistic polititian.
That, to me, is a slight and an insult to the history of missile submarines which your only accounting of I can find is Missile Submarines 1955 to the present.
I feel like we are the forgotten ones.Do you have any site to the era to which I am referring ?
thank you,

I have watched for many years at the lack of highlites concerning BB63 USS MIssouri in many of the shows %26 documentaries produced by various personnel, however I do feel that on the U.S.Navy web page this historic ship should at the very lest get a mention, NOT be snubbed by the very people that should be very proud of the great history of this ship.
